Zahra Ghyasi was born in 1981 at the same time as the Iran-Iraq war. This had a big impact on her works. Her last exhibition was in Organhaus, Chongqing, China in 2019, in which she presented a collection called "First Floor". In this project, she tried to find traces of old buildings that are rarely seen anymore in china and the relation of these images to what she has experienced herself back in Iran. One of her very interesting collections is called " Apoptosis ", meaning cellular breakdown.
