Sara Abri (b.1982, Tehran, Iran) received her BFA in Painting from the Faculty of Art and Architecture of the Islamic Azad University in 2005. Abri is a member of the Iranian Painters Society and The Institute for Promotion of Contemporary Visual Arts. She has received several awards and has presented her work in four solo exhibitions as well as more than ten group shows, including“The Possibility of Event” A Gallery, Tehran, 2016; “So Far So Closed,” Organhaus, Chongqing, China, 2014; “Unexposed” Belgium, Greece, and Poland, 2013; and “No Comment” Aaran Gallery, Tehran, 2012. She lives and works in Tehran.
